Installation Process

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS FOR NON-REBATED PANEL FRAME (OPB)

1. The product is designed for use in the construction industry to form internal doors and close openings in internal walls. It is not advisable to install this product in areas with significant temperature variations or consistently high humidity (above 60%), such as laundries, saunas, swimming pools, garages, unheated rooms, attics, or basements.

2. The Non-rebated Panel Frame (OPB) is intended to be used specifically with the manufacturer's non-rebated door leaf. The manufacturer is not liable for any physical defects resulting from the improper combination of its products with those of other manufacturers.

3. Only a non-rebated door leaf should be installed on the OPB door frame to ensure its proper functionality and utility features.

PREPARATION FOR INSTALLATION

Installation of the door frame should be carried out in dry, well-ventilated rooms after the completion of any wet construction work within the building. The humidity within the building should not exceed 60%. Tools needed for assembly include screwdrivers (PH-2 and PZ-2), Allen key (S=4mm), spirit level, angle bar, struts/wedges, disc blocks, low-pressure mounting foam, knife, pliers, hammer, and a carpenter's clamp. From the point where the OPB frame enters:

A. Horizontal upper beam - adjusted to the width of the door, with an attached gasket (single section).

B. Two vertical beams: hinged and hook beams. Each beam comprises two angle slats and a base that connects them. One angle strip is permanently attached to the base, and the other is movable, allowing for the adjustment of the frame's width to the wall's thickness (0 to 2cm). The beams have grooves, and after the frame's installation, gaskets should be placed in the tracks and rolled onto the beams (two sections).

NOTE: Frames with nominal widths greater than 235mm come equipped with an extension set with a nominal width of 140mm (for the upper beam and vertical beam). For widths exceeding 355mm, the frame comes with two such extension sets.

C. Mounting accessory kit: Retractable hinges (Z) - 3 pieces; mounting plate (P) + set of screws (WI, W2, WA) - 3 sets; two-piece screw frame connector (T1, T2, T3) - 4 sets; metal wheelbarrows (L3) - screwed - 4 pieces. Qualified installation teams are recommended. Work should be carried out according to the rules of the construction trade.

DOOR FRAME INSTALLATION

1. Install the hole in the wall following these steps: - Prepare a hole in the wall according to suggested dimensions. (Insert chart details) - Determine the floor level and ensure the vertical and horizontal alignment (check the equality of the diagonals). - Clean the hole of impurities and eliminate irregularities to ensure precise installation.

2. On a clean, level surface (that won't scratch the veneer during assembly), unpack the frame elements and verify the product's compliance with the order and the completeness of the kit. The type of hinges (right or left) must match the sash and frame versions. Check the quality of workmanship, accuracy of elements, correctness of the opening direction, and dimensions of the wing. If any defects are detected, do not assemble the product.

3. Place gaskets in the upper beam and bases of the vertical beams. Trim excess gaskets on both sides with a sharp knife).

4. Locate movable adjustable angles within the upper beam and vertical beams.

WARNING!!! Carefully remove staples securing the movable angles with the beam using a screwdriver or pliers. Disassemble the movable angles for subsequent assembly. Trying to separate the movable angles from the base without removing the staples may cause damage to the angles!

5. In the notched hinge beam slots, use mounting plates P and screw set W4, W2 to install retractable hingesNOTE! Before attaching retractable hinges to the frame and door, drill the MDF board with a wood drill of appropriate diameter at the screw attachment point. Directly screwing into the MDF without drilling may result in damage (e.g., cracking, chipping). Such damage is not covered under the Manufacturer's warranty!

6. A flat, clean surface, bend the beams at right angles

7. Insert the ends of the wheelbarrow elements L3 into the drilling circle in the adjacent beams (refer to Figure 6), and connect the beams by screwing in the bolt

8. Insert the wheelbarrow elements in opposite directions into the connecting holes of the beams. Insert screws W3 into the white element and screw them into the black element to connect the two frame beams, ensuring any gaps at the beam joint, especially on the veneered side, are eliminated.

9. Place the OPB frame, assembled in the above manner, carefully upright and position it in the door opening, ensuring correct left-right alignment and appropriate gaps between the frame and the wall.

10. Stabilize the door frame in the opening using wedges and spacer blocks (between the frame and the wall). Vertical elements are stabilized using adjustable struts. Struts should be of even length and have smooth, protected edges to prevent damage to the frame.

11. Use a spirit level to check and adjust the level of the upper beam and align the frame vertically in two planes by adjusting the wedges and struts. Check the alignment of the fixed angle strips of the risers to the wall. Any gaps can be eliminated by adjusting the frame from the fixed angle strip position to the wall using a carpenter's clamp. Also, check that the dimensions of the clear frame at the height of the hinges, lock, and threshold are consistent.

NOTE! For increased stability and reliability of installation, it is recommended to reinforce the frame-wall connection with metal anchors of appropriate dimensions (not less than 6×80 mm), depending on the joints and wall type. For aesthetic reasons, make holes in the frame for the anchors under the gasket.

12. Protect the door frame from excess foam dirt. Fill the gaps between the frame and the masonry evenly with low-pressure mounting foam, following the foam manufacturer's instructions. The use of high-quality mounting foam improves the durability and stability of the structure. Allow the construction to cure as recommended by the foam manufacturer.

13. Once the foam has cured, remove the wedges and struts. Use a knife to trim excess foam. Remove any dirt protection with foam.

14. Assemble the movable angle strips of the horizontal beam and the vertical beams using wheelbarrows. Ensure precise alignment from the veneered side. Vertically place the correctly assembled angle strips and insert them into the milled recesses of the frame bases. For added security, they can be glued to the bases with silicone inserted into the milling slot.

15. Proceed to install the door. Attach the sash to the hinged frame so that the door hinges slide into the hinge sockets cut in the door frame. Use screws W1 to secure the hinges to the door.

16. Check the alignment of the sash to the frame. Any unevenness or protrusions can be corrected by adjusting the position of the hinges on the door and/or in the frame using an Allen key The technological clearance in the device should be 3 mm. The gasket must not be compressed more than 3 mm.

17. Install additional finishing elements such as quarter rounds, masking strips, and skirting boards as needed (not included with the frame).

18. Safeguard the contact points between the door frame and the floor using silicone. Please note: Only door-joinery-adapted preparations with a neutral curing system and low solvent content are permissible. The use of sanitary sealants or other preparations containing acetic acid is strictly prohibited.

19. Install door fittings in accordance with their respective installation instructions (handles, knobs, shields - not included with the frame).
